YES..I WAKE UP EVERY MORNING AND PISS EXCELLENCE( After the untimely
demise of the rap group "ARTIFACTS"(1992.-1997),the slept-on don ,that
kept on strong, has re-arisen from the ashes like the fabled phoenix
.Once signed to Atlantic Records' subdivision BigBeatRecords,TameOne
reappeared a few years later with a FATBEATS NYC 3 song single "TRIFE
TYPE TYMEZ"/"RAWDICKSHIT"/"TORTURE CHAMBER"(produced by Geo Da Abbott
Boom Skwad/DirtyGardenStateProductionz)and then on to a short stint on
Eastern Conference Records..( the then home of The High n Mighty aka
DJ Mighty Mi n Mr.Eon,The Weathermen's founder Cage Kennylz,YakBallz,
and Super producer Camu Tao(circa 1999-2006) After appearing on
numerous ECRECS projects(i.e.- "E.C.ALL STARS" volumes 2,3,4 and 5,The
Weathermen's album "THE CONSPIRACY",Cage's "WEATHERPROOF"EP(The first
debut of our collaboration as "LEAK BROS.")CamuTao n Cage's
collaborative concept album "NIGHTHAWKS",YakBallz' album"MY
CLAIM",VAST AIRE n MIGHTY MI's "BEST DAMNED RAP SHOW"album.HIGH n
MIGHTY'S "THE 12TH MAN" as well as two solo albums(the critically
acclaimed "WHEN RAPPERS ATTACK" and the purposely underground effort
"O.G.BOBBY JOHNSON")both featuring the stellar production of
BoomSkwad's DJ PORNO and JOHNNYDANGEROUS,CAMUTAO,J-ZONE,DJ MIGHTY-MI
and RJD2.As the terms of TameOne's E.C.RECS contract came to a
close,CageKennylz defected and changed lables,moving on to DEFINITIVE
JUX,but before leaving, collaborated together under the alias "LEAK
BROS."and dropped the underground cult classic album"WATERWORLD."
After a brief haitus,TameOne returned joining forces with Hoboken NJ
HipHop band" THE DUSTED DONS"(emcees C-Chan and Govone along with DJ
Mel-Ski) to form an entirely different entity now known as "SLOW
SUICIDE STIMULUS" also teamed up with producers XING n FOX to create
the experiment in sound, in album form, called SPAZMATIC...but..
before ANY n ALL of this had even occured,the "pre-signed"artist
TAMEONE created his own musical group,formed from childhood friends
and co-collaborators..THE BOOM SKWAD(established in 1992.) --Among the
deep,deep ranks of the multi-talented hip-hop veterans,the
inner-circle consisting of DJ RHINO CMZ,(Hidden Descent) DJPORNO,MCs
JAYBURNZJAYA,KOOL MELO MAX165,SA'D(Parliament/Funkadelic),NewJersey
graffiti legend JERO NRG, and the former art director of Source
Magazine MERGE 1,have banded together out of the collective to
continue the evolution of representing every aspect of the hip-hop
culture "in-house"and independantly..(beginning with the limited
edition 12' release("BOOM SKWAD'S ON ATTACK" prod.by GRUFFRYNO CMZ)The
first of many,THE SAGA SHALL N DOES CONTINUE ..currently re-forming
another inner-group called THE ATOMIC HEADZ...AND ALSO..SUMMER '08 saw
the release of G THE TAMEONE n PARALLEL THOUGHT COLLABORATION-"THE OL'
JERSEY BASTARD:LIVE n UNCUT"- once again..its on.. grindin like teeth
